Bangers

Mac & Cheese

Green Beans

The package said they were, “Authentic British Bangers.” They’re big sausages, like bratwurst. I’d heard of “Bangers” watching food shows on BBC America. When I came across them, I had to try some. They did taste a little different. They had a sour flavor that reminded me of Sauerkraut. They weren’t bad, but our family agreed we prefer brats. The instructions recommended grilling over pan frying. In January in West Michigan grilling isn’t much fun so I cooked them on the stove top. The smokey flavor from the grill may have improved the taste. The mac & cheese and green beans were left over from Thursday.

Total Cooking Time= 10 minutes

Total Cost=$4
