Vintage Thingies Thursday

August 7, 2008 · 15 comments

This is my first time participating in Vintage Thingies Thursdays over at Confessions of an Apron Queen. I was so excited when I discovered this weekly meme. What a fun way to share our vintage finds.

I found the beautiful box of old greeting cards on the left at a flea market a few years ago. The box of stationary on the right I found down the street at a yard sale about a month ago. The cards in the box are just as pretty as the box itself. They’re decorated with foil and vellum.

And this is the paper in the stationary box. I love the retro flower design.

You can see more vintage finds by visting Confessions of an Apron Queen.

Oh, I’m in love with that stationary! How fun! I’d love to somehow frame the box the “Aloha” stationary came in! Great finds! Thank you for sharing!

WELCOME! Vintage paper ephemera is the best, love all the holiday and birthday cards. I collect a few cards, postcards and some valentines.
If I see them at a yard or house sale, I buy them!

That really IS vintage stuff. The cards look like some I got back in the 40s and 50s.

How neat! You could frame them, or use the stationery as mats for photos.
