For A Minute There I Thought I Was Losing My Mind

I’m celebrating because I think I’m over the morning sickness!

Yay!

I haven’t had a twinge of nausea since last Saturday. And I’m back to being able to eat want ever I want without getting a stomach ache an hour later.

I know it’s not very healthy, but it was really nice to indulge in a hamburger, fries and a Coke from McDonald’s.

I enjoyed every last fat and carb filled bite.

I am so glad it’s over. It really is miserable to feel like that all day long, day after day. I know I didn’t even have it as bad as some do. It certainly wasn’t as severe as the morning sickness I had with my son.

But feeling yucky like that all the time just does something to you mentally. Well, at least to me. It’s depressing. I just wanted to sit on the couch, and the more I sat, the less I wanted to do anything else. I lost enthusiasm for just about everything, even blogging.

As soon as I started to feel better my emotional outlook improved too, and I stopped moping around.

I feel happy again, and I think I’m probably a little more pleasant to be around.

Those pesky cravings are back again also.

My latest?

Toaster Strudel.

Again, something I don’t normally eat.

Pasta and Chinese still remain high on the list.

Is there a Chinese restaurant that also has pasta on the buffet?

Cause spaghetti and meatballs with a side of fried rice and chow mein sounds really good.

I’d even settle for a Fazoli’s next to a Chinese buffet.

O.K.

Maybe I am still a little out of my mind.

I’m so glad you are feeling better! It’s okay to eat bad stuff every now and then! You deserve it after being so sick.

Get some Lo mein noodles with your Chinese food instead of rice…two birds with one stone!
