Girls Just Wanna Win Swag: Buster and Boo

The winner of last week’s Flaunt it Maternity Giveaway is Karen.

This week’s featured shop Buster and Boo sells handmade Scrabble pendants, earrings and necklaces.

Buster and Boo owner Sara admired the jewelry her sister-in-laws made for years, then after purchasing a  tutorial learned how to make her own.

Sara is inspired by many things. “Nature, my animals, the world around me! I love antiques too, so many of my pendants have that look…for example, I love to use vintage sheet music for my pendants.”

The rewarding part of the business for Sara is simply having a sale. “I don’t think I’ll ever tire of the thrill I feel when somebody appreciates what I’ve made - enough to buy it! Oftentimes though, I become attached to an item, and then it’s hard to part with it! I adore the scrabble pendants, each one a teeny tiny work of art.”

Sara has a second shop called Woolies, and family life keeps her busy as well. “I live on a little ranch in the high desert southwest with 10 animals, two teenage boys, and my husband. I work full time in addition to my “nighttime job” (Etsy). I love life.”

    When I first saw this blog entry, I thought for sure that I would pick the SUNNY scrabble tile pendant after seeing the picture. After visiting the store, though, I really love the Kiwi scrabble tile pendant. Great colors and design!
